Wirral Update: Staff COVID Vaccinations

Wirral Update: Staff COVID Vaccinations

January 13, 2021

Wirral are currently in the process of writing to all healthcare organisations (including pharmacies which will come via their Shared Mailbox) to find out how many staff members were identified as vulnerable by their COVID risk assessment (PQS Part 1 data would be immensely useful here) or otherwise CEV. Those staff are going to be prioritised and a booking link will be distributed out by the end of the week for those staff to book on. Please continue to check your shared mailbox regularly and take action as necessary.

For planning purposes, the total number of community pharmacy staff has been extrapolated from those who responded to the NHS E&I survey before Christmas. Once the more vulnerable group of frontline healthcare staff is complete, they will send a further booking link out for the rest of the teams and they aim to be able to offer all front line staff their first vaccination in the next 3-4 weeks.
