Upcoming PH Campaign Information

August 19, 2019

Public Health England (PHE) resources for the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) campaign and Stoptober campaign, which community pharmacy contractors are required to participate in, started arriving in pharmacies by courier yesterday (14 August 2019). The resources for both campaigns, including activation guides, will be delivered together in the same clearly marked envelope.

Contractors are required to participate in the AMR campaign from 1 September-30 September 2019 and the Stoptober campaign from 1 October-31 October 2019. The campaigns are two of six campaigns, which have been agreed between PSNC and NHS England and NHS Improvement, as part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework; therefore, all contractors must participate in both of these campaigns.

Social media and digital resources for the campaigns will also be available on PHE’s Campaign Resource Centre closer to the start date of the campaigns; contractors are encouraged to use these resources if possible.

If contractors have not received their packs by 27 August 2019, they should email partnerships@phe.gov.uk stating the pharmacy name, address and name of the campaign(s) they have not received materials for.

Lookout for resources arriving in the pharmacy soon.

Reporting of Campaign Data

Campaign data should be uploaded to PharmOutcomes between 1 and 14 October for the AMR campaign and 1 and 14 November for the Stoptober campaign – reminders will be sent nearer the time.
