CPCW LPC Elections 2018

The term of office of the members of the Community Pharmacy Cheshire & Wirral Local Pharmaceutical Committee expires on 31 March 2018.

Status

The new committee will be made up of 15 members.  The proportions of seats on the LPC are fixed based on the contractor composition at 31 October 2017.

  • Both the Company Chemists Association (CCA) and the Association of Independent Multiple Pharmacies have confirmed that they will fill the places that they are entitled to
  • An email was circulated to Independent Contractors on 3 January 2018 seeking self-nomination forms (deadline for receipt was 5pm on 17 January 2018)
  • The LPC can report that for the 5 places available for independent contractors there were 5 nominations received and Gordon Couper, Ian Cubbin, Stuart Dudley, Andrew Hodgson and Lee Williams will take up the independent seats on the new committee from 1 April 2018.

The new committee will be announced early March 2018.
