WIRRAL CONTRACTORS – TRAINING FOR PHARMACISTS AND TEAM MEMBERS

Wirral Ways to Recovery are offering free training sessions to any Pharmacist and/or team members who live or work in the Wirral and would like to learn how to provide Naloxone injections. There is no need to currently provide Substance Misuse Services to attend the training. The training will cover:

  • How to recognize signs of opioid overdose
  • How to prepare and administer Naloxone in life threatening situations
  • Aftercare following treatment

Training is being held on a Monday evening every 5 weeks between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at Wirral Ways to Recovery, 151 -153 Brighton Street, Wallasey. Places are limited so please contact helen.richards@cgl.org.uk to request a space.
